I love dogs, and there is a quote I like that reads-DOGS ARE NOT OUR WHOLE LOVES, BUT THEY MAKE OUR LIVES WHOLE. My other loves--coffee, hot chocolate, the wind before a storm, And Fall, when the air is clean, and filled with the smell of the fall leaves, and you walk along a country road and hear the sound of them crunching underfoot. PUMPKINS! I love pumpkins. I love the look of them, the smell of them when you cut them open. I love them carved and lit up for Halloween, and I love them in pies!!! Pumpkins are wonderful things. Yes, I would have to say that fall is my favorite season. I love it when you walk along, and leaves swirl all around you, in all their magnificent color. And when I was a kid, and you could still burn them on the side of the road, the wonderful smell, and the smoke curls rising up out of the piles of ashes long after you were done. And that scent stayed in the air for days. Yes, I love the FALL.

I have many interest, some of which are birdwatching, gardening, raising mealworms for the birds that come to my yard. One of which is a jaunty little Carolina Wren, who even at times eats right from my hand. I enjoy reading when I have the time, cooking, And spending relaxing time outdoors in our woodsy backyard. I really enjoy nature. And some people. Some, not so much. I like music, country, easy listening, and folk. And, of course, I enjoy spending time with my canine companions.
